Why Schilling Law
Vast Whistleblower Experience
Potential whistleblowers need to know that these statutes and reward programs are very complex. It is critical to hire the right attorney; one who is familiar with the government agencies and applicable law. It is imperative that whistleblowers have competent and experienced counsel representing them.
Schilling Law is a Philadelphia-based whistleblower firm with vast experience representing whistleblowers who assist the Government in recovering stolen taxpayer funds. Exclusively representing whistleblowers nationwide in cases brought under the False Claims Act, the IRS Whistleblower Program, and the SEC Whistleblower Program, Kathryn M. Schilling brings over two decades of legal experience and a proven track record of success to her whistleblower clients. Notably, Ms. Schilling is one of the few distinguished attorneys who has achieved financial recoveries for her clients under three separate government reward programs (the False Claims Act, the IRS Whistleblower Program and the SEC Whistleblower Program).
In addition to this and other significant False Claims Act and SEC whistleblower recoveries, Ms. Schilling has represented many brave whistleblowers in her career who have exposed otherwise unknown waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars across many different industries. These heroes include the Chief Compliance Officer in the record-breaking $623 million settlement with Olympus Corporation of the Americas, which was a historic settlement that remains the largest total amount ever paid in U.S. history for violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute. Ms. Schilling’s IRS whistleblower clients have returned over $86 million to the U.S. Government in collected proceeds.
Unwavering Commitment to Whistleblowers
Schilling Law offers both compassionate guidance and fierce advocacy to its whistleblower clients. Ms. Schilling believes that her clients are patriots and heroes who have stepped forward under tremendously difficult circumstances to root out misconduct and protect taxpayer dollars by providing top-notch first-hand knowledge and insights to the Government.
Since the Government has limited resources to detect and investigate the rampant fraud that results in billions of dollars lost each year to fraud, whistleblowers perform a critical service for the public when they report evidence of wrongdoing. Whistleblower cases are often David versus Goliath stories of heroic people who sacrifice everything to expose illegal and often dangerous misconduct. As Senator Chuck Grassley aptly stated: “I, along with my congressional colleagues and the American public, owe a debt of gratitude to our fellow citizens who are willing to stand up for what’s right despite the personal consequences they may face. Their efforts should never be overlooked or taken for granted.” At Schilling Law, we echo these sentiments.
At Schilling Law, we believe it is our honor and privilege to assist whistleblower clients in the furtherance of this public-private partnership in rooting out fraud and recouping taxpayer dollars, and to ensure our clients’ rights are protected along the way.
